Same-to-Same
The most common policy is "Same-to-Same." You receive the car with a certain amount of fuel and you are expected to return it with that exact same level.
Full-to-Any
Some premium offers allow you to pick up the car with a full tank already included and return it at any level. This is a convenient option that lets you skip the gas station before dropping off the vehicle.
Add a full tank as an option
Depending on the agency, you may have the possibility to add a "Full Tank" option during your booking. This allows you to pay for your first tank of fuel upfront and return the car at any level, saving you time on your last day.
Important note on returns
Please note that agencies reserve the right to apply a penalty fee or charge for the missing fuel if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than agreed upon during the pickup.
